Dr. Benjamin Carter

Dr. Benjamin Carter serves as the Director of the National Speech & Debate Competition, bringing years of experience in youth development, leadership training, and educational programming. Under his direction, the organization continues to create meaningful opportunities for students to express themselves, sharpen their thinking, and grow into confident future leaders.

His vision is centered on making communication excellence accessible to every student, while promoting integrity, respect, courage, and innovation in every competition and workshop we host.
